My friends has us over for dinner on midsummer and surprised us with Aquavit daiquiris made with a bottle we had given them ages ago (I don’t blame them for still having it. It is an acquired taste). Who knew you could made daiquiris with aquavit?
Followed b regional fave: softshell crabs! It was my Swyede’s first time enjoying the delicacy. So while we didn’t have a leafed pole, flowers in our hair or dance the frog dance, we did celebrate midsommar the best way I know how: with good drinks, food and friends.
